Four-star linebacker Will Ignont tweeted his top 10 schools with more than half coming from the SEC.
April 4, 2016Four-star linebacker Will Ignont tweeted his top 10 schools with more than half coming from the SEC.
The past two weeks have been quite busy for 4-star linebacker Will Ignont. He’s visited Georgia, Auburn and Alabama.
It’s good timing for the Bulldogs, Tigers and Tide because the nation’s No. 11 inside linebacker tweeted out his top 10 schools on Monday, and all three were included in the top five.
They were joined by Michigan, UCLA, LSU, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Florida and Miami. Below is his complete list, in order.
Ignont is already built to play college football at 6-foot-2 and 232 lbs.
He’s natural as an inside linebacker with his well-timed, A-gap blitzes. Ignont isn’t the fastest player on the field, but he doesn’t give up on the ball, he diagnoses plays well, and he’s instinctual at the position.
If he improves his technique in pass coverage, Ignont can be an all-around threat in a 4-3 or a 3-4 look.
He’s the No. 251 overall recruit in the 2017 class.
