Notre Dame’s Will Fuller posted a 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine that led all wide receivers.
There are plenty of great athletes gathered in Indianapolis for the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine, but there was a bit of disappointing performances from the wide receivers at Lucas Oil Stadium — at least when it came to the NFL Combine’s most anticipated test.
Big names like Braxton Miller, Josh Doctson and Michael Thomas all posted 40-yard dash times at 4.50 seconds or slower.
There were a few wideouts who opened eyes, though, and one of them was out there representing for the Fighting Irish.
Former Notre Dame wide receiver Will Fuller certainly has first-round potential, and he might have improved his draft stock by posting an official 40-yard dash time of 4.32 seconds — the best time among wide receivers.
The only time quicker than Fuller’s was the 4.31-second mark former UGA running back Keith Marshall put up.
While the defensive backs still have to run their 40-yard dashes, Fuller deserves a golf clap at the very least, because ladies and gentlemen, that dude was flying down the line.
