West Virginia vs. Baylor prediction, online live stream and TV broadcast information for Saturday’s game.

The No. 10 West Virginia Mountaineers will travel to Waco, Texas Saturday to take on the No. 19 Baylor Bears in their final game of the regular season.

The Mountaineers (23-7, 12-5 Big 12) are currently sitting at No. 2 in the conference standings and would hold that position with a win Saturday. They are gaining momentum at the right time, as they’ve won their last three games, including a 90-68 beating of Texas Tech Wednesday night. West Virginia used a 12-0 run to extend its lead to 15 at the half. It kept its foot on the pedal in the second frame as its lead grew to as many as 27, cruising to victory. The key for the Mountaineers was forcing 19 Red Raiders turnovers and capitalizing on those miscues for 37 points. Daxter Miles, Jr. and Jaysean Paige each put up 15 points in the win.

The Bears (21-9, 10-7 Big 12) are looking to right the ship before conference tournament play, as they’ve lost two of their last three games. Last time out, Baylor dropped a heartbreaker to Oklahoma, 73-71, in Norman, Okla. The Sooners looked good early. They jumped out to a 26-3 lead and held a 19-point advantage at halftime. However, the Bears put together a furious comeback that saw them take a 68-67 lead with less than four minutes to play. Oklahoma would take the lead back soon on an Isaiah Cousins jumper and held on for the win. Baylor outscored Oklahoma by 19 points in the second half and shot 50 percent from the field in a losing effort. Taurean Prince and King McClure led the Bears with a team-high 17 points apiece.

Saturday’s game marks the 10th meeting between West Virginia and Baylor, with the Bears leading the all-time series, 7-2. The Mountaineers will look to take the season series after winning the Feb. 6 matchup, 80-69, in Morgantown, Va.

Below is everything you need to know about the matchup, including the West Virginia vs. Baylor prediction, online live stream and TV broadcast info, and game notes.

Both of these teams are NCAA Tournament locks, but wins in the Big 12 don’t come easy, and the Bears are looking to end the regular season with revenge.

The big question is: How well can Baylor take care of the ball against West Virginia? The Bears will be fine. On Senior Day, in front of the home faithful, expect the Baylor backcourt to control the game, establish an inside presence and take smart shots when the ball gets kicked out. If that gameplan materializes, look for Rico Gathers and Taurean Prince to have a big day against the West Virginia frontline.

Prediction: Baylor 86, West Virginia 82
