In the fourth overtime, Brandon Allen found Drew Morgan for a 25-yard touchdown, but Auburn couldn’t answer as its drive stalled to end a wild and crazy classic. The Hogs seemingly won the game in the final minute of regulation on a 25-yard Cole Hedlund field goal, but Auburn managed to get into range for Daniel Carlson, who hit a 41-yarder to get into overtime. Peyton Barber ran for three short touchdown runs for Auburn in the overtimes, but Arkansas was right there with Kody Walker scoring on two short runs and Drew Morgan catching a six-yard touchdown pass. Arkansas took a 14-0 lead in the first half, helped by a 23-yard Jeremy Sprinkle catch, but Barber and Jason Smith scored on short runs to get the Tigers back in it. Alex Collins ran for a seven-yard score in the third, but Auburn tied it on a Jeremy Johnson one-yard run in the fourth – and then the game really started. Brandon Allen finished with three touchdown passes and Alex Collins ran for 105 yards and a score for the Hogs. Sean White completed 19-of-32 passes for 254 yards for the Tigers.
Player of the Game: In a losing cause, Auburn RB Peyton Barber ran 37 times for 120 yards and four scores.

It was a fight for Alabama, needing a gut-check drive and a 14-yard Derrick Henry touchdown run with just over two minutes to play, and a sack with a fumble to stop Tennessee’s last chance, to get out alive. Henry ran for a 20-yard score, and Adam Griffith hit field goals from 19 and 28 yards out, but Tennessee held a 14-13 lead late with an 11-yard Josh Smith touchdown catch in the first quarter and a Jalen Hurd 12-yard scoring run late in the fourth. But Bama went 71 yards in eight plays for the winning score. Jake Coker completed 21-of-27 passes for 247 yards with a pick.

Missouri only gained 188 yards of total offense and was 0-of-14 on third downs, but down 10-3 it had a shot to get into the end zone in the final seconds, but Drew Lock’s final pass was incomplete. Vanderbilt managed a one-yard Ralph Webb touchdown run in the second quarter for all the points the team would need, and got a 40-yard Tommy Openshaw field goal in the fourth. Missouri came up with a 35-yard Andrew Baggett field goal in the second quarter – that’s it.

Dak Prescott dominated with three touchdown runs and three scoring passes, finding De’Runnya Wilson for a 13-yard score and Brandon Holloway for an eight-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter. Kentucky scored first on a two-yard Patrick Towles run, and got three Austin MacGinnis field goals, but while the Wildcat O was settling for threes, Prescott was getting into the end zone. MSU scored 14 unanswered points with a 13-yard Darrion Hutcherson catch and an 18-yard Prescott run to put the game away.
Player of the Game: Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott completed 25-of-35 passes for 348 yards and three scores with a pick, and ran 13 times for 117 yards and three touchdowns.

LSU had a fight until halfway through the third quarter, and then LSU turned it on with Leonard Fournette’s one-yard touchdown run and a 61-yards Tyron Johnson scoring play. WKU got three touchdown passes from Brandon Doughty, but the offense couldn’t keep up the pace, and the defense couldn’t stop Fournette. Brandon Harris threw three touchdown passes for the Tigers, putting the game away on a 17-yard pass to Travin Dural. Doughty threw 61 times for 325 yards and three scores with a pick for the Hilltoppers.

Ole Miss overcame four turnovers and an offense that kept stalling early be destroying the A&M O. Gary Wunderlich hit three second quarter field goals for the Rebels, and Chad Kelly threw two touchdown passes – highlighted by a 58-yarder to Laquon Treadwell to put the game away in the third. Texas A&M only managed 192 yards of total offense and one 44-yard Taylor Bertolet field goal.
