Luke Falk threw five touchdown passes with four to Gabe Marks as Washington State survived a late rally from Arizona. The Wildcats got two Jarrard Randall touchdown passes and a six-yard touchdown run from Jared Baker as part of a 21-point scoring run in the finale 15:22 – with a 20-yard scoring play to Johnny Jackson to pull within three in the final seconds. Wazzu was able to survive, finishing with 631 yards of total offense, while Arizona came up with 483 yards despite having problems early on. Randall threw for 137 yards and two scores and ran for 105 yards in place of an ineffective Anu Solomon.
Player of the Game: Washington State QB Luke Falk completed 47-of-62 passes for 514 yards and five scores.

In a fight of a game, Colorado got a 15-yard Nelson Spruce touchdown catch in the second quarter and a four-yard Sefo Liufau scoring run in the fourth for a 17-10 lead, but Oregon State kept it close with a 34-yard Garrett Owens field goal with just over nine minutes to go. Down four, the Beavers had the ball with a chance to go ahead late, but the drive stalled with a pick, and the Buffs hung on. OSU had a 7-3 lead early on a one-yard Ryan Nall run, but only managed two field goals the rest of the way.
Player of the Game: Colorado CB Chidobe Awuzie made six tackles with two broken up passes, a sack and a game-sealing interception.

Josh Rosen outdueled Jared Goff, throwing three touchdown passes including two to Devin Fuller from 19 yards out in the second quarter and a 21-yard play in the third on the way to a 33-10 UCLA lead. Ka’imi Fairbairn nailed four first half field goals for the Bruins including a 60-yard bomb as time ran out at the end of the first half, but Cal couldn’t take advantage of all the bend-but-not-break defensive moments. Cal started out the scoring with a field goal, but didn’t get into the end zone until the final minute of the first half on a one-yard Goff pass to Kenny Lawler – it was too late. UCLA outgained Cal 573 yards to 426.
Player of the Game: UCLA QB Josh Rosen completed 34-of-47 passes for 399 yards and three scores.

Cameron Smith came up with three interceptions including a 54-yard pick-six in the second quarter as USC pulled away. Utah had a 14-7 lead on the first of two Travis Wilson touchdown passes to Britain Covey and a two-yard Bubba Poole run, but USC scored 21 third quarter points with scoring runs from Soma Vainuku and Ronald Jones to go along with the Smith pick. Cody Kessler ran for a one-yard score and found JuJu Smith-Schuster for a 25-yard touchdown in the second half to put the game away. Utah RB Devontae Booker was held to 62 yards, while Smith-Schuster caught eight passes for 143 yards and a score for the Trojans.
Player of the Game: USC LB Cameron Smith had a team-high nine tackles with three interceptions and a touchdown.

Stanford had no problems from the start, getting out to a 17-0 first half lead with Kevin Hogan finding Austin Hooper for a 21-yard score and Remound Wright running for a one-yard score, but after Washington made it 17-7 on a 14-yard Myles Gaskin run in the third, it was all Christian McCaffrey. The Heisman candidate took a pass 50 yards for a score, and ran for a seven-yard touchdown for a 31-7 lead to put the game away. The Cardinal offense held on to the ball for over 40 minutes.
Player of the Game: Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey ran 23 times for 109 yards and a score, caught five passes for a team-high 112 yards and a score, and returned three kicks for 79 yards.
