UNLV forced overtime on a 49-yard Nicolai Bornand field goal, but missed on its chance in the extra frame, and San Jose State put it away on a two-yard Tyler Ervin run. The Spartans took the lead with just over a minute to play on a 21-yard Ervin catch, but the Rebels were able to rally back in the final frantic seconds to tie it. The Spartans had control early with Kenny Potter running for a score and throwing an 11-yard touchdown pass to Billy Freeman in the second, and Austin Lopez hit two field goals to give the Spartans a 20-10 lead after three quarters. The Rebels fought in the fourth on two Kurt Palandech touchdown passes before Ervin took over late.
Player of the Game: San Jose State RB Tyler Ervin ran 18 times for 73 yards and a score, and led the team with eight catches for 74 yards and a score.

San Diego State finally looked like San Diego State with a big day from the defense, three takeaways, and a big day from the ground game getting three touchdown runs from Donnel Pumphrey. The Aztecs got two Pumphrey scores in the first from 34 and eight yards out, and pushed ahead in the second on a 58-yard Eric Judge catch. Hawaii was thoroughly outplayed, but stuck around on a one-yard Melvin Davis run and a one-yard third quarter scoring run from Max Wittek, but a four-yard Pumphrey TD in the fourth put it away.
Player of the Game: San Diego State RB Donnel Pumphrey ran 30 times for 148 yards and three scores, and caught two passes for 49 yards.

Brodie Hicks picked off two passes and Shayne Davern ran for scores from six and 46 yards out as the Falcons won easier than the final score. Karson Roberts ran for a nine-yard touchdown and Jalen Robinette threw a trick play pass to Garrett Brown for a 56-yard touchdown on the way to a 28-3 lead. The Cowboys weren’t able to get into the end zone until the fourth on two Cameron Coffman touchdown passes. The four takeaways and 299 rushing yards kept Air Force in control.
Player of the Game: Air Force RB Shayne Davern ran 13 times for 130 yards and two scores.

The Nevada running game rolled with Don Jackson running for 152 yards and James Butler running for 145, while Tyler Stewart took target practice. He gave the Wolf Pack an early lead with a 13-yard run and came up with a ten-yard score in the third. New Mexico was also on offensively, with Teryion Gipson running for a 38-yard score to keep up early and a fumble recovery tor a touchdown in the fourth. But Nevada scored 14 unanswered points on two Stewart passes.
Player of the Game: Nevada QB Tyler Stewart completed 16-of-19 passes for 166 yards and two scores, and ran nine times for 57 yards and a score.

Boise State got out to a 17-0 first quarter lead on a trip play to Thomas Sperbeck for a 53-yard score and a 56-yard Jeremy McNichols run. Colorado State made some noise on a 13-yard Joe Hansley touchdown catch and a 20-yard Wyatt Bryan, but Sperbeck caught an 85-yard touchdown pass and the Broncos scored 17 unanswered points on the way to the blowout. The Rams turned it over three times and were outgained 597 yards to 256.
Player of the Game: Boise State WR Thomas Sperbeck caught five passes for 178 yards and two scores.

With the score tied at seven after the first quarter, it was all Utah State with four takeaways and a dominant performance from the defense on the way to 36 straight points. Devante Mayes ran for a five-yard touchdown to start the run, and tore off third quarter dashes from 41 and 23 yards out to pull away. Fresno State stopped the slide in the fourth on a Marteze Waller one yard run, but the offense only managed 195 yards and ten first downs on the day.
