Final Score: at North Carolina 38, Georgia Tech 31

Down 21-0, North Carolina came roaring back scoring 38 points in the final 32 minutes. Marquise Williams did a little of everything, running for two scores and catching a 37-yard scoring pass from WR Quinshad Davis. Georgia Tech got up quickly with two one-yard scores from Justin Thomas and a Clinton Lynch 14-yard dash, but the Tar Heels kept striking quickly and the D held on, only allowing one more touchdown on a 19-yard Mikell Lands-Davis catch. The Yellow Jackets pulled within seven on a late field goal, but the UNC D sealed the win with an interception.
Player of the Game: North Carolina QB Marquise Williams completed 13-of-24 passes for 134 yards, ran 15 times for 148 yards and two scores, and caught a 37-yard touchdown pass.
Final Score: Pitt 17, at Virginia Tech 13

Pitt got up 10-0 helped by a 23-yard J.P. Holtz touchdown catch, and then the running game took over. Qadree Ollison ran for a 25-yard touchdown, but more than that, he controlled the game and let the D do the rest. The Hokies got an 11-yard Cam Phillips touchdown catch in the second, but could only managed two Joey Slye field goals in the second half. The Pitt D camped out in the backfield for several key stretches late; Virginia Tech ended up with just nine rushing yards on 33 carries.
Player of the Game: Pitt RB Qadree Ollison ran 19 times for 122 yards and a score.
Final Score: at Duke 9, Boston College 7

Duke couldn’t do much of anything to move the ball, coming up with the just 33 rushing yards and failing to get much with the passing attack, but it was able to managed three Ross Martin field goals to get out with the win. Boston College couldn’t move the ball well, either, only coming up with a 66-yard Thadd Smith touchdown catch in the third. The Eagles had the chance to take the lead late, but Colton Lichtenberg missed a 45-yard field goal.
Player of the Game: Duke PK Ross Martin hit all three of his field goal attempts from 36, 38 and 53 yards out.
Final Score: Florida State 24, at Wake Forest 16

Florida State got a 94-yard touchdown run from Dalvin Cook, but he left the game with a leg injury soon after. It would be up to Everett Golson to move the offense, leading to a nine-yard Jonathan Vickers touchdown run and with a five-yard scoring pass to Kermit Whitfield. But Wake Forest wouldn’t go away with Kendall Hinton finding Cam Seringe for a seven-yard score, and with Mike Weaver hitting three field goals including two in the fourth quarter. But the Seminole D hung on throughout the second half.
Player of the Game: Florida State QB Everett Golson completed 20-of-21 passes for 202 yards and a score, and ran for four yards.
Final Score: Louisville 20, at NC State 13
Pick: NC State 28, Louisville 23

Louisville took control of the game early on with a Lamar Jackson 68-yard touchdown run and a 20-yard scoring pass to Devonte Peete, but NC State fought back with a three-yard Matthew Dayes scoring run and a 21-yard Jaylen Samuels scoring pass. The Cardinal running game and defense held on, leading to two John Wallace field goals to be just enough to survive. NC State was held to 45 rushing yards on 30 carries.
Player of the Game: Louisville QB Lamar Jackson completed 10-of-27 passes for 103 yards and a score, and ran 19 times for 121 yards and a touchdown.
Final Score: at Cincinnati 34, Miami 23
Pick: Miami 37, Cincinnati 28

Cincinnati got a 29-yard Hosey Williams touchdown run and the first of two Hayden Moore touchdown passes for a 14-3 lead, but Miami fought back. The Bearcats took the lead for good in the second quarter on a Moore one-yard run, and closed out the first half on a 26-yard Andrew Gantz field goal for a 27-20 lead. Up four, Moore and the Bearcats answered a Michael Badgley field goal with an 81-yard drive and a seven-yard scoring pass to Tyler Cogswell late in the fourth to put it away.
Player of the Game: Cincinnati QB Hayden Moore completed 22-of-33 passes for 279 yards and two scores with a pick, and he ran for a score.
