The college football rankings following Week 2 are hot off the press. Once again, the Ohio State Buckeyes sit atop the top 25. Below is a look at the complete rankings, from No. 1-128.

    1. Ohio State (2-0)

It’s performance art at this point. The Buckeyes are playing against complacency.

    2. Alabama (2-0)

If Alabama blows out Ole Miss, a reasonable case could be made for No. 1.

    3. Michigan State (2-0)

The Oregon win was the best victory by anyone so far. It took a few breaks, and the secondary has to be stronger, but now the spotlight is on to get to Ohio State unbeaten.

    4. UCLA (2-0)

It wasn’t the sharpest of games going through the motions against UNLV. If this really is a top four team, it needs to stomp all over the BYU magic this week.

    5. Oregon (1-1)

No reason to drop the Ducks for that loss. They were one overthrown Vernon Adams pass away from being No. 3.

    6. USC (2-0)

The Trojans are doing exactly what great teams are supposed to do. That Arkansas State team they destroyed in Week One gave Missouri all it could handle in Week 2.

    7. Oklahoma (2-0)

The Sooners proved they could win a gut-check grinding game. Soon, the running game has to start working and the Air Raid thing has to dominate.

    8. TCU (2-0)

The offense had a better Week 2, but it wasn’t playing Minnesota. The injuries on defense are going to quickly mount.

    9. LSU (1-0)

The offense needs to be a bit more explosive when No. 7 isn’t carrying the ball, but the pieces are there to be the second best team in the SEC.

    10. Ole Miss (2-0)

No team in college football has looked better over the first two week. If the Rebels can shock Alabama, it’s up to No. 2.

    11. Notre Dame (2-0)

The Malik Zaire injury isn’t a killer quite yet, but if Notre Dame could come that close to losing to Virginia, there’s a problem. The Georgia Tech showdown will be telling.

    12. Baylor (2-0)

Ho hum. The defense has too much talent and experience to be this mediocre against awful competition.

    13. Georgia (2-0)

At some point, the passing game has to start to show up. Everything else is in place to dominate the East.

    14. Florida State (2-0)

Chalk up the weird game against South Florida to being sleepy. It’s going to be a team that improves as the year goes on. Everett Golson has to be better.

    15. Wisconsin (1-1)

As strange as this sounds … can the Badgers run the ball? It’s going to be nice and easy for a while, and Corey Clement has to get healthy.

    16. Texas A&M (2-0)

The offense is looking solid from the start. There’s not a lot of fanfare, but the Aggies are playing really, really well out of the gate.

    17. Georgia Tech (2-0)

The offense is humming on all cylinders. Beat Notre Dame, and the national attention will come.

    18. Clemson (2-0)

Deshaun Watson was fantastic against a good Appalachian State team. There are more than enough weapons to keep rolling without Mike Williams.

    19. Tennessee (1-1)

Coffee’s for closers only. The Vols have too much talent at receiver not to have a stronger passing attack.

    20. West Virginia (2-0)

The Big 12 road schedule is coming to breakfast in a few weeks, but this is a good enough team to hang with any team in the conference.

    21. Northwestern (2-0)

The Wildcats are playing like they’re ready to be the real deal. The defense has been a brick wall – it’s early, but it’s the best in the Pat Fitzgerald era by far.

    22. Mississippi State (1-1)

If you believe in LSU that the potential is there to be phenomenal, then the Bulldogs need to be seen in a different light after coming painfully close to coming through at home.

    23. Utah (2-0)

The swarming defense is going to make life hard for quarterbacks all season long, but QB Travis Wilson has to get past a shoulder problem.

    24. Missouri (2-0)

This is another Missouri team that’s going to go unnoticed, but the defense is starting to kick it in. The offense is what it is with Maty Mauk under center.

    25. Auburn (2-0)

At the end of the day, Auburn did win the game. There’s too much talent and too many good parts to be almost-losing-to-Jacksonville-State bad, though.

    26. Iowa (2-0)

    27. Virginia Tech (1-1)

    28. NC State (2-0)

    29. Florida (2-0)

    30. Arizona State (1-1)
