In an insane game with Dak Prescott throwing five touchdown passes and running for two more for Mississippi State, and with Arkansas QB Brandon Allen throwing for 406 yards and seven scores, the Bulldogs scored 20 points in the fourth quarter – finishing off with a 14-yard Fred Ross catch – for the wild win. MSU was rolling with a 31-14 lead in the second quarter, but Allen threw four touchdown passes as part of a 28-0 run, finding Hunter Henry twice from 39 and 18 yards out on the way to a 42-31 lead. And then Prescott took over the fourth. MSU outgained Arkansas 631 yards to 479.
Player of the Game: Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott completed 38-of-50 passes for 508 yards and five touchdowns with a pick, and ran 15 times for 46 yards and two touchdowns.

In overtime, Georgia Southern was stopped on a 4th-and-1 by Jordan Jenkins on his 13th tackle of the game, and Sony Michel put it away on a 25-yard touchdown run to help Georgia avoid the massive upset. The great GSU running game came up with 233 yards, but it was a 62-yard Caleb Williams fumble return for a score that gave the Eagles a 14-7 lead in the third quarter. Isaiah McKenzie ran for a 23-yard touchdown for the Dawgs, and Greyson Lambert found Terry Godwin for a 12-yard touchdown, but it took a 43-yard Marshall Morgan field goal late in the fourth to held Georgia force overtime. The two teams combined for just 590 total yards.
Player of the Game: Georgia LB Leonard Floyd made 12 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss.

In a driving rainstorm, neither offense could get much of anything going, but Florida survived on a 13-yard Jake McGee touchdown catch – but the woeful kicking game struggled yet again with a blocked extra point. FAU had its chances, but throws into the end zone went incomplete. The Gators took a 14-0 lead on a one-yard Kelvin Taylor run and a 53-yard Antonio Callaway touchdown catch in the third, but FAU came up with a ten-yard Kalib Woods catch and a fumble recovery for a score to tie it. FAU outgained Florida 299 yards to 252.
Player of the Game: Florida P Johnny Townsend averaged 43.4 yards per punt with six of his nine kicks put inside the 20.

The Citadel running game dominated, running for 350 yards and three touchdowns with Tyler Renew running for 174 yards and two scores and Cam Jackson taking off for 106 yards and a score. Renew took off for a 56-yard touchdown dash with just over six minutes to play. South Carolina had two more chances, but both drives stalled. The Gamecocks settled for three Elliott Fry field goals and got a 41-yard Pharoh Cooper touchdown grab and a one-yard Brandon Wilds scoring run, while the Bulldogs had control of the game with its rushing attack. Cooper caught 11 passes for 191 yards and a score for USC.
Player of the Game: Citadel RB Tyler Renew ran 23 times for 174 yards and two scores.

Ole Miss dominated right out of the gate with Laquon Treadwell catching a touchdown pass and Chad Kelly and Jaylen Walton each running for short scores on the way to a 24-0 lead. LSU fought back with Brandon Harris finding Tyron Johnson from 39 yards out to spark a 17-point run, but Ole Miss scored the final 14 points with Kelly running for an 11-yard touchdown and finding Evan Engram for a 36-yard scoring pass to put the game away. Leonard Fournette ran for 108 yards, and Brandon Harris threw for 324 yards and a score.
Player of the Game: Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly completed 19-of-34 passes for 280 yards and two scores, and ran 12 times for a team-high 81 yards and two scores.

Tennessee scored the first 19 points of the game as Aaron Medley nailed four field goals and Joshua Dobbs scored from eight yards out to ruin Gary Pinkel’s final home game for Mizzou. The Tigers got on the board in the fourth with a one-yard Drew Lock run, but the offense stalled all game long, and the defense had no answers for Tennessee RB Jalen Hurd. Missouri converted just 2-of-15 third down chances and gained 223 yards.

Taylor Bertolet hit six field goals and Kyle Allen connected with Josh Reynolds for a 95-yard touchdown as Texas A&M blew past Vanderbilt. Bertolet connected from 31, 25, 46, 46, 41 and 23 yards away as the Vandy D held time and again, but the O didn’t do much of anything finishing with just 148 yards including 23 through the air. Tra Carson ran for 126 yards for the Aggies, and Allen threw for 336.

Jeremy Johnson threw two touchdown passes and ran for two more as the Auburn offense finally worked. The Tiger defense got into the act with a 48-yard pick-six from Johnathan Ford, but it was Johnson and the offense that took over from the start with 35 first half points and a 49-17 lead before Idaho went on a late run. Jake Luton ran for a score and threw a touchdown pass, completing 14-of-18 passes, as the Vandals outgained Auburn 479 yards to 460.
Player of the Game: Auburn QB Jeremy Johnson completed 13-of-19 passes for 163 yards and two scores, and he ran five times for 23 yards and two scores.

Alabama put the game away early with a 28-0 first quarter on Derrick Henry touchdown runs from 17 and two yards away, a 21-yard Richard Mullaney scoring catch, and a punt return for a touchdown from Cyrus Jones. Jones was at it again in the second quarter on a 72-yard punt return for a touchdown as the Crimson Tide cranked up a 49-0 halftime lead. Charleston Southern finally scored in the fourth on a three-yard Kyle Copeland run. CSU was 1-for-10 on third downs, but converted its only fourth down try.
Player of the Game: Alabama RB Derrick Henry ran nine times for 68 yards and two touchdowns.

The Kentucky running game roared to 415 yards and six scores as Jojo Kemp cranked out three touchdown dashes and Stanley Williams scored from 29 and 53 yards out. Charlotte only managed a second quarter field goal as UK rolled up a 58-3 lead, tipped off by a 62-yard Shihiem King touchdown run in the fourth. The 49ers finally got into the end zone on a three-yard Zach Bumgarner catch late. Kentucky outgained Charlotte 544 yards to 233.
