Down 10-3, Georgia put the clamps down in the second half allowing just one Daniel Carlson 38-yard field goal and getting a 53-yard punt return for a score and a four-yard touchdown run from Isaiah McKenzie. The Tigers scored first on a seven-yard Kerryon Johnson run from the Wildcat formation, but the offense stalled time and again in the second half and the Dawgs took advantage.
Player of the Game: Georgia’s Isaiah McKenzie returned a punt 53 yards for a score, ran four times for 26 yards and a touchdown, and caught two passes for 15 yards.

A wild, crazy, and historic week for Missouri football ended with a desperately needed win. The Tigers got a four-yard touchdown catch from J’Mon Moore in the fourth quarter to take the lead, and got a one-yard Tyler Hunt scoring three minutes later to push ahead for good. BYU stayed alive with a six-yard Francis Bernard touchdown catch, but that would be it. The Cougars had one more drive, had to punt, and couldn’t get the ball back. Missouri’s struggling offense came up with 434 yards and hung on to the ball for over 39 minutes.

Vanderbilt used a trick play, got two key interceptions from , and used two goal line stands to get by in a fight. Kyle Shurmur threw two touchdown passes and Burks returns one of his picks 30 yards for a score on the way to a 21-10 halftime lead, but UK got a two-yard Jojo Kemp touchdown run to pull within four late, but missed a field goal and stalled the rest of the way. The Wildcats turned it over three times, Vanderbilt twice.
Player of the Game: Vanderbilt RB Ralph Webb ran 33 times for 113 yards, and caught three passes for 13 yards.

Florida got up 17-0 and appeared to be cruising in the fourth quarter helped by a touchdown run from three yards out from J Cronkrite and a 41-yard scoring grab, but South Carolina fought back with Pharoh Cooper throwing to Perry Orth for a touchdown, and Orth throwing to Cooper for a 38-yard score to pull within three late. Florida answered with a 75-yard drive finishing with a one-yard Kelvin Taylor touchdown run. Florida outgained the Gamecocks 404 yards to 201 and had the ball almost twice as long.
Player of the Game: Florida RB Kelvin Taylor ran 20 times for 105 yards and a score.

The Arkansas running game rocked for 299 yards with Alex Collins coming up with 141 of them along with touchdown dashes from 80 and five yards out in the first half. The Hogs started out the scoring with a 52-yard Dominique Reed catch on the way to a 21-0 lead, but LSU finally woke up. Brandon Harris found Malachi Dupre for a five-yard touchdown and Leonard Fournette ran for a two-yard touchdown to pull the Tigers within seven. Arkansas took control the rest of the way with Jared Cornelius putting the game away with a 69-yard scoring dash in the fourth. Fournette ran 19 times for 91 yards and a score.
Player of the Game: Arkansas RB Alex Collins ran 16 times for 141 yards and two scores.

Derrick Henry tore off touchdown runs from 74 and 65 yards out, and Calvin Ridley took a pass 60 yards for a score, but Alabama got all the points it would need – after the extra point – on a 69-yard punt return for a touchdown from Cyrus Jones. Mississippi State’s offense failed on a few early chances including at the Bama one, and only settled for two Westin Graves field goals. Dak Prescott threw for 300 yards, but he was hit time and again by the suffocating Crimson Tide pass rush. The Bulldogs outgained Alabama 393 yards to 379.

Tennessee ran without a problem getting scoring runs from 27 and 15 yards out from Alvin Kamara and a one-yard touchdown run from Jalen Hurd. Aaron Medley added a 34-yard field goal – the Vols didn’t explode, but they didn’t have to. North Texas was stopped for just 199 yards of total offense converting on 2-of-12 third down chances. Joshua Dobbs threw for 136 yards with a pick.
Player of the Game: Tennessee RB Alvin Kamara ran 15 times for 127 yards and two scores.

Texas A&M turned it over three times, and Western Carolina put up a fight in the first half with a fumble return for a score and a 17-yard Detrez Newsome touchdown catch on the way to a 14-14 second quarter score, but Texas A&M took control the rest of the way. Kyler Murray threw three touchdown passes with Christian Kirk scoring from 14 and 22 yards out – the second one from Kyle Allen – and Damion Ratley making a 16-yard scoring grab.
Player of the Game: Texas A&M WR Christian Kirk caught nine passes for 122 yards and two scores, returned a punt 46 yards, and returned two kickoffs for 30 yards.
