I understand Washington lost and is going to be perceived as more vulnerable now. And that might be true, but it isn’t going to lose to Arizona State. Jake Browning is going to throw for at least 400 yards and the Huskies are going to run away with the win to set up a huge Apple Cup matchup with Washington State.

If you think this will be close, you’re sorely mistaken. Kalen Ballage and Demario Richard won’t be able to supply enough firepower to take down Washington here. Jake Browning will go over 300 passing yards and throw at least three touchdowns to bounce back from the Huskies’ first loss of the season. Myles Gaskin will do work on the ground, too, and Washington will pick up one more win before heading into the Apple Cup.

Chris Petersen’s Huskies are itching to put last week’s loss to USC behind them. Despite U-Dub’s athletic and physical defense being banged-up, as Joe Mathis and Azeem Victor are out for the year, the unit will contain Kalen Ballage and Co. for the most part. Meanwhile, Jake Browning will be going up against the nation’s worst pass defense, which could get ugly for the Sun Devils. This one won’t be close, as the Huskies notch a win to stay in the CFP race ahead of their big showdown in the Apple Cup.

Thanks, Huskies. Because of you, now we’re going to have to hear talk about how USC will be a national contender next season. And that the Trojans’ response to a slow start was all thanks to Clay Helton. And Will Ferrell will soon appear on a sideline in between finishing the last few instances of him being actually funny. Thanks. You played yourself.

Arizona State is awful, and Todd Graham could very well be gone after the season. Washington responds with a win.
