Four teams are standing out for four-star wide receiver Warren Thompson, one of the top recruits in the 2018 cycle.

With just over a year to go until Seffner, Florida prospect Warren Thompson announces his commitment – he’s stated he’s “gonna wait until my Signing Day” – four teams have emerged in his recruitment.

The three traditional Sunshine State big boys – Florida, Florida State and Miami – and North Carolina are all leaving impressions on the nation’s No. 14 wide receiver and No. 88 overall player.

All four of his top teams have gotten a jump on the 2018 recruiting cycle, each having already received at least one pledge for the cycle. However only Florida and Miami have receivers committed at this time, but none of Thompson’s caliber.

According to Rivals recruiting analyst Rob Cassidy, while Thompson has a defined top four at this time, he is not ruling out that shifting as he gets further along in his recruitment.

Thompson is a big-framed receiver with room to grow. He’s listed at 6-foot-4 and 185 pounds, and is an ideal red zone target for quarterbacks.

He holds two dozen offers, and in addition to the aforementioned teams, is reciting interest from the likes of Georgia, Louisville, LSU, Ole Miss, Penn State and Wisconsin.
