    Wake Forest vs. Army West Point

    Final Score: Wake Forest 17, Army West Point 14

    1. Mike Weaver hit a 47-yard field goal as time ran out to give Wake Forest the win. The Demon Deacons got a Kendall Hinton 15-yard touchdown run in the third, and took the lead in the fourth on a seven-yard Hinton run, but Army tied it on a nine-yard Christian Drake run. Wake Forest went 12 plays in the final few minutes for the game-winning score.

    2. Army West Point started out the scoring with a four-yard Ahmad Bradshaw touchdown run in the second quarter, but needed a turnover to lead to the second score in the fourth.

    3. The Demon Deacons turned it over three times with Hinton throwing two picks.

    Wake Forest

    – Kendall Hinton completed 15-of-27 passes for 159 yards and two picks. He also led the team with 101 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries.

    – K.J. Brent caught four passes for 72 yards.

    – Punter Alexander Kinal had a great day, averaging 43.4 yards per kick on five tries, putting four inside the 20.

    Army West Point

    – Ahmad Bradshaw completed 2-of-3 passes for 54 yards, and ran 22 times for a team-high 61 yards and a score.

    – Army only ran for 186 yards, averaging 3.4 yards per carry.

    – Army controlled the clock for 32:30, but the offense didn’t move consistently. The Black Knights converted 5-of-14 third down chances.
