    Non-Conference Games: Alabama State, at Colorado State, Arizona State, at Texas A&M

    5 Keys To The Schedule

    – The new era of Roadrunner football starts out with a breeze against Alabama State, and then it gets rough with a non-conference road game at Colorado State before hosting Arizona State. The other game outside of the league is at Texas A&M late in the year.
    – Going to Old Dominion isn’t that bad a date with the East, and getting Charlotte at home is a break. Playing Middle Tennessee on the road is going to be rough because …
    – The date with the Blue Raiders starts a run of three straight road games, going to Louisiana Tech and Texas A&M. Consider it a shock if any of those three are close.
    – There’s a nice run of three home games in four weeks coming off a week off. UTSA has to at least win two of the three games against Southern Miss, UTEP and North Texas.
    – WATCH OUT FOR … the home game against North Texas. Coming right before that brutal three game November road trip, a loss to the Mean Green might effectively end the season before finishing up against Charlotte.
