    USC 59, Idaho 9

    1. USC took target practice with Justin Davis starting out the scoring with two short runs and Cody Kessler throwing the first of his three touchdown passes on the game to JuJu Smith-Schuster for a 21-0 lead.

    2. Idaho got on the board with a 20-yard field goal in the second, but Tre Madden ran for two second quarter touchdowns on the way to a 38-9 lead. The Trojans scored the last 21 points

    3. Smith-Schuster caught a 41-yard touchdown pass and Isaac Whitney caught a 28-yard pass play in the third.

    USC

    – Cody Kessler completed 26-of-31 passes for 410 yards and three scores. Max Browne stepped in and completed 4-of-6 passes for 43 yards.

    – JuJu Smith-Schuster caught ten passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns

    – USC outgained Idaho 737 yards to 311, but only converted one of six third down chances.

    Idano

    – Matt Linehan completed 20-of-32 passes for 194 yards and a score. Jake Luton completed 8-of-13 passes for 46 yards

    – Jacob Sannon caught nine passes for 79 yards

    – Idaho gained 2.2 yards per carry. USC 7.7.
