2016 U.S. Army All-American Bowl live stream, TV info and schedule for the annual recruiting showcase in San Antonio, Tex.
January 4, 2016As National Signing Day inches closer, fans will be treated to the second high school all-star game in a week’s time with the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Last Saturday it was the Under Armour All-America Game’s opportunity to put some of the nation’s top talent on display.
The East and West teams are set, the coaching staffs are filled, and practice officially kicked off on Monday.
Players will get a solid week of preparation in before taking the field at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. As always, the all-star event, featuring star-studded rosters, will put the future of college football and the NFL on display. Some of the bigger names that’ll be competing are quarterback Jacob Eason (Georgia), tight end Isaac Nauta, who is also considering the Bulldogs, quarterback Shae Patterson (Ole Miss), linebacker Mique Juarez (Uncommitted) and defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence (Clemson). There are also a handful of top recruits scheduled to announce their college decision throughout the game.
Bill Kramer, the head coach of Naples High School (Naples, Fla.), will lead the East Team. His counterpart will be Jim Benkert, the head coach for Oaks Christian School (Westlake Village, Cal.). Unlike the Under Armour game, which featured Herm Edwards and Steve Mariucci as head coaches, both staffs are comprised completely of high school coaches.
