Everything you need to know about the UNC vs. Maryland online live stream and TV broadcast, as well as game notes and prediction.

The No. 9 North Carolina Tar Heels (5-1) are back home in Chapel Hill, N.C. to face off against the No. 2 Maryland Terrapins (6-0) in the Dean E. Smith Center.

It’s the highly anticipated return of UNC’s star point guard, Marcus Paige. He’s missed the first six games of the season with a broken right hand, and UNC survived — kind of. The Tar Heels have only played one true road game (three neutral-site games), and it ended with a loss to Northern Iowa.

Maryland is being led by its standout guard, Melo Trimble, who’s looking to take the Terrapins to new heights in his sophomore season. Head coach Mark Turgeon’s squad is sporting the sixth-best shooting percentage in the country (53.2 percent), and now they’re looking for a win in one of the toughest places to play in college basketball.

Below is everything you need to know about the game, including the UNC vs. Maryland online live stream, TV broadcast information, game notes and prediction.

    Prediction

There’s nothing but love for the Tar Heels in this one, but until Paige proves he’s back to his old form, it’s going to be difficult to pick him instead of Trimble. Maryland will barely survive in the rebounding category, but its shooting percentage will be what downs North Carolina. Winning the turnover battle will, of course, be a huge factor, and it feels like that’s going to go the Terrapins’ way.
