    UCLA 37, UNLV 3 In Three Things

    1. UCLA was sloppy with too many penalty and turnovers, but there weren’t any problems on the way to a 37-0 lead. Josh Rosen started out the scoring with a 29-yard pass to Jordan Payton, and Paul Perkins ran for scores from seven and 56 yards out.

    2. The Bruin defense got a pick six from Kenny Young in the second to put the game all but away with the way the D was playing. Ka’imi Fairbairn hit three field goals.

    3. UNLV finally got on the board in the final few minutes with a 32-yard Nicolai Fornand field goal.

    UCLA

    – Josh Rosen completed 22-of-42 passes for 223 yards and a score with an interception> Jerry Neuheisel completed 2-of-9 passes for 30 yards and two interceptions

    – Paul Perkins ran 18 times for 151 yards and two touchdowns

    – UCLA was balanced, running for 273 yards and throwing for 253

    – Keith Whitely ran 12 times for 73 yards

    – Blake Decker completed 2-of-6 passes for 52 yards. Kurt Palandech completed 4-of-15 passes for four yards with a pick

    – UNLV as a team managed 2.4 yards per throw and 56 passing yards
