UCLA vs. Arizona State prediction roundtable with the Campus Insiders staff. Breaking down what will happen in Saturday’s game between the Bruins and Sun Devils.

Freshman Brady White will get the start for Arizona State in place of injured quarterback Manny Wilkins. Brady White is not Josh Rosen, who is going to lead the Bruins to a victory in this one. Rosen had a huge game in last week’s win over Arizona with three touchdown passes and another score on the ground, and I’m expecting to see similar numbers from him against a Sun Devils team that likes to get into shootouts.

Manny Wilkins is out for this game. I can’t, in good conscious, choose the Sun Devils to win without him. He’s too vital to their offensive success with his ability to move the sticks with his legs and his arm. Soso Jamabo has been pretty cold this season, but he’ll sniff the 100-yard mark and cross the plane once or twice. Josh Rosen is the key though. He’s one of the best quarterbacks in the country, and he’s coming off a huge game. He’ll lead the Bruins to a win.

The Sun Devils come into this game a wounded bunch. Freshman quarterback Brady White stepped in for Manny Wilkins last week and struggled against USC. The Bruins have their issues, as well, including not moving the football consistently enough on the ground. But they also have Josh Rosen, who should take over in the second half as the Bruins pull away on the road.

UCLA head coach Jim Mora was reprimanded by the Pac-12 for comments after the Bruins win against Arizona this past Saturday. What does that even mean? Does he have to pay a fine? Does he have to sit out a quarter? What use is there in reprimanding a coach? Anyway, the Sun Devils lost their first game of the season against a struggling USC team, and that does not bode well for the game against UCLA. Quarterback Josh Rosen will have a huge game, Mora will be more quiet after the win, and the Bruins roll.
