Four-star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s top eight schools feature a heavy dose of the SEC and Pac-12.
Four-star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa isn’t quite ready to make a commitment right now, but he did decide to narrow down his list of schools.
Tagovailoa, the No. 4-ranked quarterback and No. 40 overall prospect in the class, tweeted out his top eight schools on Tuesday. That list has a solid dose of SEC and Pac-12 programs.
Tagovailoa, from Honolulu, Hawaii, plans to between Alabama, Ole Miss, USC, UCLA, Texas A&M, Washington, Hawaii and Arizona.

Tagovailoa is the highest rated quarterback from Hawaii since Marcus Mariota was a 3-star prospect in the 2011 class, and we all know what happened with the former Oregon Ducks star. He took home a Heisman Trophy and was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
The benchmark has been set.
