Tom Herman’s Diamond Grill Makes Good On Promise

Tom Herman will rock a diamond grill on Tuesday to make good on a promise to his team.
This past season was highly successful for the Houston Cougars, and the vast majority of the credit has to go to Tom Herman.
In his first season as a head coach, fresh off winning a national championship as Ohio State’s offensive coordinator, Herman led the Cougars to a 12-1 season. Now, Herman is getting his team ready to play the Florida State Seminoles in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
Before that goes down, though, Herman has to take care of some unfinished business. The Cougars had their first double-digit-win season since 2011, and one of the team’s glowing accomplishments was beating Temple, 24-13, in the American Athletic Conference championship. Herman promised his team that, if they won the conference title, he’d get a diamond grill for his teeth.
