The Falcons (8-2, 6-0 MAC) remain undefeated in conference play after staving off the Western Michigan Broncos on the road by a 41-27 count last week. Trailing 17-14 early in the second quarter, Matt Johnson connected with Teo Redding for a 42-yard touchdown strike to go up 21-17, and Bowling Green never looked back. Johnson (23-of-41, 269 yards, 3 TD), Travis Greene (24 car, 170 yards, 3 TD) and Roger Lewis (5 rec, 86 yards, 2 TD) led the Falcons offensively.
Toledo and Bowling Green will meet for the 80th time Tuesday night, with Bowling Green leading the all-time series by a 39-36-4 count. The Falcons look to avenge the Rockets’ 41-24 win last season.
