    1. Last week it was a missed extra point that led to the loss. This week, Texas suffered a dropped punt snap by Michael Dickson and a short kick that allowed Oklahoma State to win on a 40-yard Ben Grogan field goal. The Cowboys tied it with 1:33 to play with a 41-yard field goal before getting his chance a few seconds later.

    2. Brandon Sheperd caught a 17-yard touchdown pass and J.W. Walsh ran for a four-yard score for a 14-3 first quarter Oklahoma State lead, but Texas hung around on two Nick Rose field goals and a fumble recovery for a score. The Longhorns took the 20-17 lead going into halftime on a seven-yard run from Tyrone Swoopes.

    3. The Texas defense kept the game alive with a pick six of Mason Rudolph from Holton Hill for a 41-yard score. The offense didn’t put any points on the board in the second half.

    – Mason Rudolph completed 22-of-34 passes for 290 yards and a score with two picks.

    – Rennie Childs ran 21 times for 54 yards and Marcell Ateman caught four passes for 69 yards.

    – Jerrod Heard ran 19 times for 48 yards and completed 9-of-17 passes for 119 yards and a pick.

    – Johnathan Gray ran 11 times for 55 yards.

    – Texas committed 16 penalties for 128 yards.
