    Prediction: Texas A&M 27, Louisville 23, Line: Texas A&M -1, o/u: 50.5

And You Care Because … Lamar Jackson ran wild for Louisville, taking off for first quarter touchdown runs from six and 61 yards away. He also threw two touchdown passes with a two-yarder to Micky Crum and a 17-yarder to Keith Towbridge to go along with his 226 rushing yards. Texas A&M had its shot, staying in the game with a nine-yard Tra Carson run and two Jake Hubenak touchdown passes including a 29-yarder to Christian Kirk with just under five minutes to play to pull within six. But the final drive ended with a misfire in the end zone, and Louisville was able to run out the clock.

    What Else?

    – Louisville QB Lamar Jackson completed 12-of-26 passes for 227 yards and two scores, and ran 22 times for 226 yards and two touchdowns.

    – Texas A&M QB Jake Hubenak completed 28-of-48 passes for 307 yards and two scores with a pick.

    – Texas A&M RB Tra Carson ran 20 times for 106 yards and a touchdown, and caught a pass for seven yards.

    – Texas A&M WR Josh Reynolds caught 11 passes for 177 yards.

    – Total Yards: Louisville 534 – Texas A&M 445

    – Penalties: Louisville 10 for 90 yards – Texas A&M 9 for 85

Game Rating: B. It wasn’t a thing of beauty, and it stunk that Texas A&M didn’t have a top two quarterback playing, but it still came down to a late drive and a defensive stand. Lamar Jackson was more than worth the price of admission.
