Redskins wide receiver Terrelle Pryor Sr. took to Twitter to politely ask Rams safety Cody Davis to avoid tackling his knees.

As a wide receiver, Terrelle Pryor Sr. is used to taking hits. But one in particular stood out to him from the Washington Redskins’ game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

With under seven minutes to go, Pryor caught a nine-yard pass and was tackled immediately by Rams safety Cody Davis. While the hit wasn’t illegal by any means, Pryor took to Twitter with a friendly request for Davis:

Is that fair to ask of an opposing player? Who knows. But for defensive backs in the NFL, it’s been getting harder and harder to make a legal tackle with the strike zone shrinking to exclude the head and neck.

We’re still waiting on word from Davis about the play.
