    Teradja Mitchell

CI 25 Overall Ranking: No. 23
CI 25 Position Ranking: No. 1

School: Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School
    Position: ILB
    Height: 6’2″
    Weight: 237 lbs

    Playing Style

Few players in this recruiting class will hit you as hard as Teradja Mitchell does. He flies across the field, swarms to the ball and will bury you into the turf. He looks like a young Patrick Willis with the way he can plug gaps and stifle opposing running games. And if his man stays in to block or gets washed out of the play, Mitchell will green dog it and hunt the quarterback.

Florida State and Clemson could find early playing time for Mitchell, and neither Jim Fisher nor Dabo Swinney would think twice about it. LSU is also looking for linebackers, though, and Mitchell could end up being the next great Tigers linebacker.

    What They’re Saying

“There’s not much Mitchell doesn’t do at a very high level. He’s a big-time athlete with great instincts.” – Scout

“He is going to be one of the country’s most highly recruited prospects in his class.” – Bill Kurelic, 247Sports

    Recruiting Overview

It’s going to be tough to beat out the Seminoles here. Fisher keeps on going back to the well when it comes to Virginia Beach natives. The FSU head coach has formed a pipeline from Virginia to Tallahassee, and it appears Mitchell will end up being the next one to don garnet and gold. However, the ‘Noles were only one of the 11 schools he listed on Feb. 1 in terms of his top choices. They joined Alabama, Florida, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, USC and Virginia Tech.

Clemson, Georgia and LSU are all going to pursue Mitchell until the very end. But it will take a lot to lure him away from Florida State — especially with the fact the Seminoles landed his former teammate, Khalan Laborn, in the 2017 recruiting class.
