    Prediction:Tennessee 30, Northwestern 17, Line: Tennessee -8.5, o/u: 47.5

And You Care Because … Tennessee dominated throughout with Joshua Dobbs starting out the scoring with a 14-yard touchdown run and adding an 18-yard scoring dash in the fourth in the blowout. Northwestern made it 10-6 on a five-yard Justin Jackson touchdown run in the second, but missed the extra point – that was it. Jalen Hurd and John Kelly each ran for short touchdown runs, and to put a capper on the ugliness, Evan Berry returned an interception 100 yards for a score with just eight seconds to play. .

    What Else?

    – Tennessee QB Joshua Dobbs completed 14-of-25 passes for 166 yards, and ran 12 times for 48 yards and two scores.

    – Northwestern RB Justin Jackson ran 14 times for 74 yards and a score.

    – Tennessee RB Jalen Hurd ran 24 times for 130 yards and a score.

    – Turnovers: Northwestern 4 – Tennessee 0

    – Penalties: Tennessee 8 for 90 yards – Northwestern 3 for 35 yards

    – Total Yards: Tennessee 420 – Northwestern 261

Game Rating: D-. Northwestern did everything wrong considering its style of play with turnovers, no run defense, getting behind early. Tennessee turned the athletes and talent loose, and there wasn’t anything the Wildcats could do to stop the momentum.
