    1. Temple got out to a 10-0 lead in the first half on a 39-yard Austin Jones field goal and the first of two Jahad Thomas one yard scoring runs. That’s all the Owls would need.

    2. Charlotte got on the board before halftime with a 36-yard Blake Brewer field goal, but the offense couldn’t move the ball and stopped cold in the second half.

    3. Temple scored 27 unanswered points with two P.J. Walker touchdown passes for Robby Anderson from 11 and 13 yards out, and helped by a blocked punt for a score.
