The No. 3 TCU Horned Frogs will play host to the West Virginia Mountaineers Thursday night hoping to keep their 15-game winning streak alive.

The Horned Frogs (7-0, 4-0 Big 12) are coming off a bye week and looking to continue their case for the College Football Playoff. Last time out, TCU traveled into Ames and came away with a 45-21 victory over Iowa State. The duo of Trevone Boykin and Josh Doctson turned in huge performances for the Frogs. Boykin passed for 436 yards on 27-of-32 attempts and four touchdowns, while Doctson tallied 190 receiving yards and caught two of Boykin’s touchdowns. Boykin also led TCU in rushing with 74 yards and a touchdown, bringing his total to 510 yards of total offense and five touchdowns on the day. With his four TD passes, Boykin extended the nation’s longest active streak for games with a touchdown pass to 22.

After winning their first three games of 2015, the Mountaineers (3-3, 0-3 Big-12) have dropped three straight, all Big 12 conference games. A superior Baylor team who put up 62 points outgunned West Virginia last time out. Despite the loss, Skylar Howard still came to play throwing for 289 yards and four touchdowns. Howard’s four TD passes at Baylor tied his career high and was his sixth game with multiple TD passes as the starting quarterback. Wideouts Shelton Gibson and David Stills combined for five receptions, 156 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Mountaineers receiving corps.

TCU and West Virginia will meet for the fifth time on Thursday, with the winner taking a lead in the series (currently tied 2-2). The last three meetings between these two teams have gone in favor of the road team and have been decided on the final play.
