Check out all you need to know for the Summit League tournament right here.
Everyone please stand and give a round of applause to the IPFW Mastodons.
In search of its first conference tournament championship in school history, IPFW has earned the No. 1 seed in the Summit League after going 12-4 in conference play and 23-8 overall. The Mastodons have five players averaging double figures in scoring, and are led by freshman guard John Konchar, who nearly averages a double-double.
However, the South Dakota State Jackrabbits, a regular and dominant competitor in the Summit League, are right behind IPFW with a matching 12-4 conference record and the No. 2 seed in the tournament.
Most Summit League teams are only separated by a one game differential, meaning that it was a tight race in conference play and is bound to be a tight battle in the tournament.
