Snoop’s Son Quits Football At UCLA To Concentrate On Film

After all of the hype and all of the Signing Day shenanigans, Snoop Dogg's son, Cordell Broadus, doesn't appear all that interested in playing football for UCLA, or anyone.

After all of the hype and all of the Signing Day shenanigans, Snoop Dogg’s son, Cordell Broadus, doesn’t appear all that interested in playing football for UCLA, or anyone.

According to BruinReportOnline’s Tracy Pierson, Broadus is going to still be a student at UCLA, but he didn’t report to the football team and didn’t contact anyone in the program.

Welcome to the flakiness of recruiting.

Forgetting that this is a celebrity’s son, this is the type of thing that turns coaching staffs into crazed nutjobs when it comes to trying to suck up to children. For all the time, effort, work, and promotion that worked around trying to get a four-star wide receiver/defensive back prospect – much less someone with this sort of a profile – now it’s all gone.

Football-wise, Broadus has the size, the athleticism, and the talent to really and truly turn into a starter someday for a high-level FCS team. UCLA just lost one of its key recruits – fo shizzle.
