SEC football predictions and schedule for Week 12 of the 2016 season. The highlight of the week comes as Florida travels to face LSU and makeup a game that was postponed due to Hurricane Matthew.

In a week where many SEC teams face FCS foes, one games stands out above the rest. Despite the elapsed time, LSU and Florida come into their game this week in a similar place to where they were in week 6. Back when their initial matchup was postponed due to Hurricane Matthew, Florida was coming off a bad loss to Tennessee and a lackluster win versus Vanderbilt. At the same time LSU was coming off a close lose to Auburn and a dominant win over Missouri.

Fast forward six weeks and Florida goes into Baton Rouge having lost badly to Arkansas two weeks ago, followed by a less-than-impressive win against South Carolina. Meanwhile, LSU just rolled over Arkansas a week after losing a tightly-contested game to Alabama. Florida is playing for an SEC East title, though a loss would put Tennessee back in the driver’s seat in the division.

The other all-SEC matchups feature the Volunteers hosting Missouri, and Shea Patterson making his second start for Ole Miss when the Rebels travel to Vanderbilt.
