    November 3, 2015

SEC football picks and spreads for Week 10. This week’s schedule is highlighted by a mammoth showdown in Tuscaloosa between the LSU Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide. It will be a battle of great running backs against tough defenses. Can Leonard Fournette carry the Tigers to victory on the road, or will the Tide rise to high at home? Scroll down for this week’s SEC picks.

    Mississippi State vs. Missouri

    Date
    : Thursday, November 5

    Kickoff
    : 9:00 p.m. ET

    Venue
    : Faurot Field

The Missouri defense has been terrific, and will try to shut down Mississippi State’s do-it-all QB Dak Prescott. The problem for the Tigers is they can’t score, as QB Drew Lock hasn’t been able to fill in the shoes of Maty Mauk since Mauk’s suspension. Mizzou’s offense will be a bit better this week, but won’t be good enough to outpace Prescott and the Bulldogs.

    Pick: Mississippi State

    Spread: Mississippi State -8

    Florida vs. Vanderbilt

    Date
    : Saturday, November 7

    Kickoff
    : 12:00 p.m. ET

    Venue
    : Ben Hill Griffin Stadium

Florida has all but locked up a trip to the SEC championship. The one team that could spoil the party? Vanderbilt. However the Commodores just aren’t good enough to shock the Gators, even if they’re still hungover from the cocktail party.

    Pick: Florida

    Spread: Florida -21

    Georgia vs. Kentucky

    Date
    : Saturday, November 7

    Kickoff
    : 12:00 p.m. ET

    Venue
    : Sanford Stadium

Where does Georgia go from here? The Bulldogs looked downright awful against Florida last week, and are dealing with injuries, off-field incidents, and rumors surrounding coach Mark Richt’s future. Kentucky’s defense can’t stop anyone, and that won’t change against Georgia. Dawgs win by double digits.

    Pick: Georgia

    Spread: Georgia -14

    Ole Miss vs. Arkansas

    Date
    : Saturday, November 7

    Kickoff
    : 3:30 p.m. ET

    Venue
    : Vaught-Hemingway Stadium

Sure, Arkansas can run the ball behind its monster of an offensive line, but will QB Brandon Allen be able to pass against a solid Rebels secondary? The “Landshark” defense has been terrific at times, and the Ole Miss offense can be as explosive as anyone in the nation.

    Pick: Ole Miss

    Spread: Ole Miss -11

    Tennessee vs. South Carolina

    Date
    : Saturday, November 7

    Kickoff
    : 4:00 p.m. ET

    Venue
    : Neyland Stadium

The Head Ball Coach, Steve Spurrier, used to always bring out his best against the Volunteers, but he is gone, and South Carolina’s passing attack is nowhere to be found. Tennessee rebounded after a tough loss to Alabama by blowing out Kentucky. The Vols will keep the wins coming this week.

    Pick: Tennessee

    Spread: Tennessee -16.5

    Texas A&M vs. Auburn

    Date
    : Saturday, November 7

    Kickoff
    : 7:30 p.m. ET

    Venue
    : Kyle Field

The Auburn rushing attack will have a good day against the Aggies defensive front. But Kyler Murray will have an even better day against the Tigers secondary. Texas A&M strings a second straight win together after dropping two in a row.

    Pick: Texas A&M

    Spread: Texas A&M -7.5

    LSU vs. Alabama

    Date: Saturday, November 7

    Kickoff
    : 8:00 p.m. ET

    Venue
    : Bryant-Denny Stadium

Once again, the Tigers and Crimson Tide battle with a spot in the College Football Playoff most likely on the line. The Alabama defense has heard all about Leonard Fournette, and will try to be the first team to shut him down. On the flip side, LSU will face Bama’s beastly running back, Derrick Henry. Riding the home crowd, the Crimson Tide will hand the Tigers their first loss of the season.

    Pick: Alabama

    Spread: Alabama -6.5
