This is NOT a team of the greatest players in San Diego Charger history. It’s team of top players drafted and kept by the franchise.
Lance Alworth, Wes Chandler and Charlie Joiner are all-timer receiver talents, but the Chargers didn’t draft them. Also, there aren’t any great players who were drafted by the franchise, but played somewhere else or spent most of their careers on other teams.
This is the all-time draft team made up of home grown players who were drafted by, and did most of their big things, with the San Diego Chargers.
