Army
QB Kelvin Hopkins, 5-9, 187 – It takes a certain type of quarterback to do what Army wants, and Hopkins might be it. He’s too small to be a regular pocket passer, but he has the type of arm much bigger quarterback prospects could only dream of having. Not just a quick option runner, he can move, but he might have the best deep arm of any Army quarterback in a long, long time. He’ll be able to stretch the field – now he just needs some receivers to work with. 

BYU
CB Dayan Lake, 5-11, 190 – It’s a good recruiting class with lots of options for some key spots, and it’s Lake who should be the key to the whole thing. A special athlete with great offensive skills, he’s going to be the type of corner who takes away one side of the field and becomes the type of defender to work a secondary around. A top target for several Mountain West programs, and Utah and Cal made a push, but BYU has its main man for a defense that came up with a great haul. 

Notre Dame
TE Alize Jones, 6-5, 230 – From QB Brandon Wimbush to OG Tristen Hoge, several key star prospects are coming into South Bend. Jones is the best next-level recruit of the lot with NFL tools and the size to be like a bigger wideout. He’s not going to blast away, and he needs lots of at-bats in practices to turn into a devastating target. It’ll take a little bit of time, but the upside is enormous – when he gets his refinement down, he could turn into a special talent with ten-year pro potential.
