Four-star Georgia athlete Quindarious Monday received an offer from Michigan. The Wolverines extended the invite on Saturday morning.

Michigan is losing some key defenders from its 2016 football team, including do-everything Jabrill Peppers, end Chris Wormley, nose tackle Matthew Godin, end Taco Charlton, linebacker Ben Gedeon and cornerback Jourdan Lewis. So the Wolverines know they need to continue to restock that side of the ball.

On Saturday, Jim Harbaugh and Co. extended a scholarship to Class of 2018 four-star athlete Quindarious Monday, who is an Atlanta product.

Monday holds a wide range of scholarship offers, including from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida and Florida State. He is one of the better overall players in the Peach Tree State, and he is expected to play safety at the next level.

With the offer to Monday, Michigan now has 20 scholarship offers out in the state of Georgia for the 2018 cycle. Harbaugh and his staff have also dedicated their resources toward recruiting heavily in Florida and Texas as well.

Wolverines linebackers coach Chris Partridge is expected to be the primary recruiter for Monday, and keep in mind that Michigan had success in Georgia in the 2017 class, as stud defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon and running back Kurt Taylor are native Georgians.

Michigan has one verbal pledge from Georgia in 2018 in four-star safety Otis Reese.

Monday will need to add weight and strength to his frame, but he is an ideal free safety because he is adept in the flats and has good range.
