Defensive end Quashon Fuller has committed to FSU as a member of the Seminoles' 2019 recruiting class.
February 28, 2017Defensive end Quashon Fuller has committed to FSU as a member of the Seminoles’ 2019 recruiting class.
Jimbo Fisher isn’t content just stocking his 2018 recruiting class. On Monday, 2019 prospect Quashon Fuller committed to the FSU football program, something that’s been a lifelong dream of his.
“I just see Florida State as, if you buy in, they’ll get you to the league. I always wanted to be a Florida State Seminole so I feel that this is the right decision for me and for my family.”
Hailing from Delray Beach, Florida, Fuller’s commitment comes roughly two weeks after he attended FSU’s junior day. He’s the second 2019 commit for the Seminoles, joining 4-star defensive end Mike Morris.
According to Fuller, Brad Lawing, who had recruited him, said that the Noles will shut down their recruitment for defensive ends in the 2019 class.
“He said thank you and that I’m the last defensive end that he’s recruiting in my class,” Fuller said.
“I was very excited to tell him because I’ve been a ‘Nole since I was a little kid. So to be able to say that to him was great.”
Granted, National Signing Day for Fuller’s class is a long, long time down the road. And more so than in most facets of life, recruiting is rife with uncertainty. But at this moment in time, Fuller is a member of the Florida State Seminoles’ 2019 recruiting class and can turn his attention toward pulling in fellow pledges.
