Projected AP college basketball rankings for Week 17 of the 2015-16 season. Here’s how we predict the top 25 will look.

So, as if we couldn’t have guessed already, the AP Top 25 is under extreme remodeling … again. No ranked team has ever been safe this season.

And this last week was in line with that trend. There were 14 AP Top 25 teams who lost at least one game. Four of those teams were ranked within the top five.

The Miami Hurricanes made a big impact by taking down Virginia and Louisville. The UNC Tar Heels may have beaten NC State, but they fell to those same Virginia Cavaliers only days after falling to Miami.

It’s continued to be an up-and-down roller coaster, and here’s how we expect the AP Top 25 to shake out heading into Week 17.

    1. Kansas (25-4), RPI: .6627

The Jayhawks took down Baylor on the road, 66-60, on Tuesday. Kansas extended its winning streak to nine with a 67-58 win over Texas Tech on Saturday.

    2. Villanova (25-4), RPI: .6600

Michigan State’s week saw its first win on the road over Ohio State on Tuesday, 81-62. The Spartans extended their winning streak to four games on Sunday, beating Penn State, 88-57.

    5. Oklahoma (22-6), RPI: .6441
