5 Keys To The Schedule

– It’s an interesting start with Villanova not a total breather before a fight with Penn State and a trip to Oklahoma State. With Marshall also added in, the Panthers aren’t taking it easy in the non-conference schedule.

– Getting Syracuse at home from the Atlantic isn’t bad, but going to Clemson is a horrible, horrible break in divisional play.

– There’s a midseason stretch of three road games in four – going to Virginia, Miami and Clemson – but there’s a week off in the middle before the home game against Virginia Tech.

– Closing out with Duke and Syracuse at Heinz Field isn’t bad, but that comes off the road games to Miami and Clemson.

– WATCH OUT FOR … the road game at Virginia. The Panthers might be beaten up a bit before going into their off-week. Worse yet, they play the Cavaliers after dealing with the cut-blocking Georgia Tech offense.
