Iowa vs. Stanford
Both of these teams had their eyes on the College Football Playoff, but weren’t quite able to get the job done in the end. It’s going to be fun watching Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey against a stout Iowa Hawkeyes defense that just doesn’t give up many yards.

Arizona vs. New Mexico
The bad news for Arizona? It’s going to be a true road game as they take on New Mexico in Albuquerque. The good news? The Wildcats have more talent. Utah vs. BYU
The bowl committee in Las Vegas got a dream matchup in this one, as Utah and BYU battle in the “Holy War” in the Sin City. This bowl game will mean more than most – imagine Auburn and Alabama meeting in New Orleans in the Sugar Bowl – and the tensions will be high. BYU lost its coach to Virginia, and when in doubt, take the team with more stability. Coach Kyle Whittingham provides that for the Utes.
Early Pick: Utah 27, BYU 24
Early Line: Utah -3

Miami vs. Washington State
The Cougars offense has been clicking after a slow start to the season, and you can guarantee that the Wazzu faithful will travel well to any and every bowl game they appear in. For Miami, this is a chance to end the season on a high note going ending the Mark Richt era, and some of the Hurricanes will be trying to impress the new man in charge.
Early Pick: Washington State 41, Miami 34
Early Line: Washington State -2.5
Saturday, December 26, 2:20 pm ET, ESPN
Cotton Bowl Stadium, Dallas, TX
Washington vs. Southern Miss
Southern Miss is a good team and all, but they have yet to face a defense as tough and solid as the Huskies. Coach Chris Petersen and the Huskies should be able to walk out of Dallas with an easy win.
Early Pick: Washington 41, Southern Miss 17
Early Line: Washington -8.5

Nebraska vs. UCLA
Thanks to not enough bowl eligible teams this season, Nebraska is playing in the postseason with a 5-7 record. Awaiting the Huskers are the UCLA Bruins. Expect Josh Rosen to shine in what should be a double-digit win for the Bruins.

USC vs. Wisconsin
Todd Helton is now the man in charge at USC, and his first opponent as the full-time head coach? Wisconsin. The Badgers haven’t done anything too impressive this season, while the Trojans turned things around for a berth in the Pac-12 title game. But this one will come down to muscle, and Wisconsin has more.
Early Pick: Wisconsin 26, USC 13
Early Line: USC -3
Saturday, January 2, 6:45 pm ET, ESPN
