Oregon vs. St. Joseph’s picks for the NCAA Tournament’s second round matchup.

Many questioned Oregon’s reward of a one-seed in the NCAA Tournament, but the Ducks looked every bit the part of a top seed in their blowout win over Holy Cross. They dropped 91 points on the Crusaders and shot a blistering 56% from the field. Now, a big win over a 16 seed isn’t enough to verify how worthy the Ducks really are of that top seed, but if they can replicate that performance, they’re well on their way to a Final Four trip.

St. Joseph’s came into the tournament as one of the hottest teams in the country after winning the Atlantic 10 Tournament over the likes of Dayton, VCU, and St. Bonaventure. DeAndre Bembry is being recognized on a national scale, and rightfully so. The junior played all 40 minutes in the Hawks’ win over Cincinnati and shot 57% from the floor. The man is a beast, and he’s going to be provide a tough challenge for the Ducks.

Here are the Campus Insiders Oregon vs. St. Joseph’s picks.

    Sam Falcone

DeAndre Bembry is so, so good. The dude can put the entire team on his back without breaking a sweat. But between Chris Boucher, Elgin Cook, and Dillon Brooks, Oregon will prove too much for the Hawks. St. Joe’s will keep it close, though.

    Shae Peppler

Oregon. We’ve written off the Pac 12 (at least I have), here’s to hoping Oregon can prove us all wrong.

    Ray Crawford

Is Oregon for real in this tournament? I believe so. They end the SJU run.

    Jordan Cornette

Big believer in Bembrey and Miles, they put this team on their back.
