Everything you need to know about the Ole Miss vs. Oklahoma State Sugar Bowl live stream and TV broadcast, as well as game notes and prediction.

The No. 12 Ole Miss Rebels will meet up with the No. 16 Oklahoma State Cowboys in New Orleans on New Year’s Day in the Sugar Bowl.

The Rebels (9-3, 6-2 SEC) are making their fourth straight bowl appearance and 37th in program history. Ole Miss capped off a successful 2015 regular season with a 38-27 win over Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl. The Rebels jumped out to a 21-0 lead after the first quarter and despite a stronger effort out of the Bulldogs in the second half, never looked back. Chad Kelly was the man for Ole Miss, amassing 310 yards on the day and adding three touchdowns to boot. Damore’ea Stringfellow caught both of Kelly’s touchdown passes and finished the day with five catches for 84 yards. The Rebels defense also had a hand in the scoring as Tony Bridges picked off Dak Prescott and returned 45 yards for a touchdown. Ole Miss is looking to avenge last year’s 42-2 beat-down handed to it by TCU in the Peach Bowl.

The Cowboys (10-2, 7-2 Big 12) are making their tenth consecutive bowl game appearance and 25th overall. Oklahoma State started the season 10-0, but dropped its final two games to Baylor and, most recently, Oklahoma. The Pokes held a 10-7 lead at one point in the first quarter, but that is as close as they would get as the Sooners outscored them 51-13 from that point on. J.W. Walsh did what he could in place of the injured Mason Rudolph. Walsh finished with 375 total yards, two touchdowns and a pick. With a lackluster rushing attack, Oklahoma State took to the air. James Washington benefitted from the strategy, catching seven passes for 169 yards and a touchdown. The Cowboys are looking to make it two straight postseason wins following their 30-22 victory over Washington in the Cactus Bowl last year.

The 2015 Sugar Bowl will mark just the third meeting all-time between Ole Miss and Oklahoma State. The Rebels took the two previous meetings in the 2004 and 2010 Cotton Bowls.
