The No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners will travel to Stillwater to take on in-state rival Oklahoma State on Wednesday night.

The Sooners (13-1, 2-1 Big 12) bounced back from their heartbreaking 3OT loss to Kansas with a home win over Kansas State, 86-76, last Saturday. The Cowboys (9-6, 1-2 Big 12) have had a rough go of it so far this season and could really use a win over their rival. After beating TCU, Oklahoma State has dropped it’s last two games, including a 77-60 loss on the road at West Virginia. The Mountaineers jumped out to a 7-0 advantage and led wire to wire. Jawun Evans led the Cowboys with a team-high 13 points and five assists, while Jeffery Carroll (10 points, 11 rebounds) finished with his first double-double of the season. Looking ahead, Oklahoma State will travel to play Texas on Jan. 16 before welcoming No. 1 Kansas to Stillwater on Jan. 19.

Wednesday night’s matchup will be the 230th in the “Bedlam Series,” a series that Oklahoma leads 134-95 all-time. The Sooners have taken the last five meetings and the Cowboys are 9-10 facing a ranked Sooners team on the road.
