    Why You Need To Care

No. 3 Oklahoma has been unbeatable so far this season, sitting at 7-0 heading into this matchup. The Sooners will look to improve to 6-0 at the Lloyd Noble Center this season.

The last time Oklahoma took the hardwood, it handed Oral Roberts a punishing 23-point loss, 96-73.

As far as the Bluejays go, they’re sitting at 7-3 and are coming off back-to-back wins against Nebraska and IUPUI. Now, Creighton will look to steal one in Norman, Okla.

    Why Oklahoma Will Win

The Sooners have a bonafide star in senior guard Buddy Hield. He’s averaging 22.1 points on 47.1 percent shooting with 50 percent shooting from three-point range. The guy has been lighting it up for Oklahoma, and he’ll have to keep it going at home vs Creighton. Isaiah Cousins hasn’t been too far off when it comes to finding the bottom of the net, but he should look to take on a playmaking role in this one in order to help the Sooners win.

    Why Creighton Will Win

Hield is going to torch the Bluejays offensively, so it’ll be up to Creighton to try and keep Cousins, Jordan Woodard and Ryan Spangler from getting too far into double figures. If they lock down on defense and limit the Sooners on the boards, the Bluejays may be in it late. With five guys averaging double figures, Creighton will need to share the ball and attack the basket in order to get to the foul line.

    What’s Going To Happen?

Hield is going to tear the Bluejays apart, picking and choosing how he wants to get his points. He’ll get some help from Cousins, and Spangler will do work down low in the post, but Hield is going to carry the torch. That effort and intensity will transfer over to the defensive end of the court. The Sooners will win the turnover battle and secure yet another home victory.
