October 30, 2015The No. 12 Oklahoma State Cowboys will travel to Lubbock to take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders in hopes of keeping their undefeated season alive.
The Cowboys (7-0, 4-0 Big 12) are riding a nine-game winning streak dating back to last season and are as confident as ever after blowing out Kansas, 58-10, last week in Stillwater. Oklahoma State was led by J.W. Walsh who had five total touchdowns. Walsh has seen success in limited action this season, as the backup QB has 45 plays of total offense (rushes and pass attempts). Those 45 plays have resulted in 78 points for the Cowboys. The receiving duo of James Washington and Chris Lacy combined for 10 receptions, 179 yards and three touchdowns on the day.
The Red Raiders (5-3, 2-3 Big 12) are in the midst of an up-and-down season and are looking to put last week’s 63-27 beat down they were served by Oklahoma behind them. Pat Mahomes did his best to keep Texas Tech in the game with his arm (26-40, 233 yards, 1 TD) and his legs (15 car, 47 yards, 1 TD), but his four interceptions caught up with him. Desipte the loss, the Red Raiders continue to boast one of the nation’s top offenses as Texas Tech ranks third nationally in total offense and passing offense.
Oklahoma State and Texas Tech will get together for the 43rd time on Saturday. The Red Raiders lead the series 21-18-3, but have lost the last six matchups against the Cowboys.

It’ll be a whole bunch of fun with lots of offense, plenty of big plays, and well over 1,000 yards. Texas Tech will play well at home, but the Cowboys have a pass rush and a defense – the Red Raiders don’t.
