Oklahoma football recruiting update for the week of March 31, 2016. The Sooners reeled in a couple of commitments recently.
March 31, 2016Oklahoma football recruiting update for the week of March 31, 2016.
Bob Stoops’ Sooners held onto their No. 2 spot in the 2017 recruiting class rankings by adding a couple of names to their list of commits.
Four-star wide receivers Jalen Reagor, from Waxahachie, Texas, and Charleston Rambo, from Cedar Hill, Texas, both committed to Oklahoma on Sunday.
Reagor is 6-foot, 182 lbs and stretches the field vertically with his pure speed.
Rambo is similar in height but lacks a few pounds in comparison to Reagor (6-foot-1, 166 lbs). He’s very quick off the line and can create space, which makes him a weapon in the red zone with quick slants and fades. With his catch radius as wide as it is, you’d have to try not to complete a pass to Rambo.
They join wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who committed to Oklahoma in December, to form a Texas trio of playmakers for the Sooners.
Below is a breakdown of Oklahoma’s 2017 recruiting class as it currently stands.
