    Ohio State vs. Western Michigan

    Final Score: at Ohio State 38, Western Michigan 12

    1. It wasn’t always pretty, but Ohio State managed to get up early on Cardale Jones touchdown passes from 38 yards out to Michael Thomas and 37 yards away to Jalin Marshall. WMU answered with a 55-yard Daniel Braverman touchdown catch, but the Buckeyes closed out the half with a 30-yard Jack Willoughby field goal and followed it up with a pick six from defensive tackle Adolphus Washington, who snagged the ball out of the air and rumbled 20 yards for a score.

    2. WMU’s Zach Terrell threw two touchdown passes, with the second to Jeremiah Mullinax for a one-yard score, but OSU had full control of the game throughout.

    3. Ezekiel Elliott ran for a six-yard score in the third and Curtis Samuel added a 40-yard scoring dash in the second half for the Buckeyes.

    Ohio State

    – Cardale Jones completed 19-of-33 passes for 288 yards and two scores with a pick. He ran ten times for 32 yards. J.T. Barrett completed 1-of-3 passes with a pick.

    – Ezekiel Elliott ran 16 times for 124 yards and a score.

    – OSU converted 8-of-13 third down chances. WMU converted 7-of-17 tries.

    Western Michigan

    – Zach Terrell completed 18-of-33 passes for 169 yards and two scores with a pick. Daniel Braverman caught ten passes for 123 yards and a touchdown.

    – Jamauri Bogan ran 23 times for 93 yards. Jarvion Franklin ran 12 times for 68 yards.

    – WMU held the ball for over 37 minutes.
