I’ve made no secret of how I feel regarding this Nebraska team. Even after taking Wisconsin to overtime last week, I’m still not impressed. Ohio State hasn’t exactly been impressive of late, either, but that’s going to end this week. I’m thinking three touchdowns from Curtis Samuel as the Buckeyes win big.

Ohio State is not clicking right now, and was downright sluggish for most of the second half against Northwestern. And while on paper this looks like a stellar top-10 matchup between two legendary programs, it’ll play out like two flawed teams trying to regain their footing during the season’s final stretch. I don’t see Nebraska pulling out an upset in The Horseshoe. Tommy Armstrong commits a late-game turnover, Ohio State capitalizes, and the Buckeyes win.

This Ohio State team is young, and it hasn’t looked stellar in the last two weeks. But they’re also playing for one of the greatest coaches and motivators in history. J.T. Barrett will get hyped for this game, and he’ll get a lot of help from Curtis Samuel and Mike Weber. The Buckeyes will flip the field a couple of times on the Cornhuskers and put this one away with a few minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

Nebraska suffered its first loss of the season last week to Wisconsin, and things don’t get any easier this Saturday against the Buckeyes. This could be another tough outing for Tommy Armstrong, who went just 12-of-31 passing for 153 yards and two interceptions last week. Ohio State will get nice efforts from Curtis Samuel and Mike Weber, and Armstrong makes too many mistakes against the Buckeyes defense. Ohio State wins as it looks to remain a threat in the College Football Playoff race.

Did the Buckeyes reach their peak too early in the season? Can the Huskers go into Columbus and pull off an upset? Does Mike Riley weigh more than 100 pounds soaking wet? These are all questions I want answers for, but only two will likely be answered on Saturday (unless it rains.) The Buckeyes offense has struggled in the last two games, but don’t expect that to last a third. Ohio State rolls.
