The Ohio State spring game is coming up fast. Here’s all the info, including date, time and how to watch the Buckeyes’ spring game.
Head coach Urban Meyer and Ohio State are in for a major overhaul coming into this season, with just six starters and 35 letterman returning from the 2015 team that went 12-1 and defeated Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl.
After spending last season sharing playing time under center with Cardale Jones, it is now junior J.T. Barrett’s offense to run.
Whereas Barrett has valuable game experience, Ohio State’s running backs are green and trying to fill the big shoes left by Ezekiel Elliott. Senior Bri’onte Dunn is the the only returning back with playing time, while Mike Weber, a highly recruited player out of high school, should make some noise.
Replacing Joey Bosa on the defensive line is no easy task, but juniors Tyquan Lewis and Michael Hill will provide pressure to opposing backfields alongside sophomore Sam Hubbard.
Two talented juniors in Raekwon McMillan and Dante Booker will fill the role at linebacker, while junior Gareon Conley will lead a young secondary that lost most of its production.
