    5 Keys to the Schedule

    – Get ready for the firefights. Of course Ohio State will beat Bowling Green and Tulsa – it had better – but those two offense are going to be among the most impressive in the country. Both will be nice tests for the Buckeye pass defense.

    – And then comes the Oklahoma game on the road. There’s no crying and whining this year about the Buckeyes not playing anyone in the regular season – they’re going to see just how good they really are early on.

    – Speaking of the schedule being stronger, that includes the games against the West. OSU misses Iowa, but it has to go to Wisconsin and hosts Northwestern and Nebraska. All three will be tests.

    – The games against Penn State and Michigan State are on the road, but the Michigan game is at home. Starting with the showdown in Camp Randall against the Badgers on October 15th, and considering the Maryland game is on the road, the second half of the season is going to be fun.

    – WATCH OUT FOR … that game against Maryland. Ohio State will be at least 20 points better than the Terps, but it’s a big sandwich game coming after the date with Nebraska and before the road game at Michigan State and finale against Michigan.

2017 Non-Conference Games Oklahoma, Army, UNLV
